Cool bike mate! I'd get the black tuffs and throw the flights on, then clean her up and leave it as is. Try Autosol or mothers chrome polish with aluminium foil as a scourer. The foil won't scratch the frame like steel wool will. :daumenhoch:

So a few nights solvent abuse it is then - paintstripper, autosolv and tin foil - makes for a great shopping basket. The number is something like (to protect the innocent) T SS 11 xx F
xx is a very low number.

PM me the number if you're concerned at giving it out willy nilly. The reason I ask is because I'm trying to build a 'database' of the serial numbers in order to try and date them correctly (as of yet I've failed miserably)
