Haro Group 1 racebike project.
Jon The Bassist:
Update. Tyres and grips were falling apart so have been replaced by new GT grips and new repro Tioga Comp 3s. I couldn't do anything with the original seatpost (and didn't need that much layback either) so got a new plain seatpost and put the original saddle back on. Chucked on a cheap flexfighter which I might look to upgrade to something more effective later. That's all I'm planning to do for the moment... I'm happy with how it rides, there's plenty of room. I'd change the wheels and cranks if I wanted to make it an out and out speed machine.

Okay, so I wasn't that happy with the cranks (too short and flexy for me), the grips (moving), and the chain was in a state.
So, I got some survivor Profile (Powerlite) 180 cranks from the bay, new sealed bearings, NOS Proneck flexfighter, generic lock-on grips from Halfrauds (had some vouchers), and a new KMC chain, and new 9/16 pedals as the old ones wouldn't fit 3pc:
