changing caliper colour

Well, i want some red anodyzed brake calipers.

I can get a set in silver but not red

I rememebr some people using glass paint to paint shimano DX pedals to get an ANO effect.

Would painting silver brakes with red glass paint give the right colour ?

also, is it likely to just rub off ?
