my latest early mongoose find

I've been on the goose site serial makes it may 1981,the lad I got it from just txt he's found original purchace receipt from 1981 the only non original parts are bars and chainwheel

Just wondering how you were identifying it as a team :-\ The serial is the later style and therefore won't have the "T" stamp but the dropouts are the older style so if it is a team it should have a flattened rear stay or three holes in the bridge or in a couple of cases around this point in 81 they have both ;)
If the forks are original to the frame then it's prob's not a team as the team forks are thinner.
Also if the bike came as a complete, the team model had dura ace cranks as stock.
The standard geese did come in blue though :daumenhoch:

at a guess I would say the receipt the kid has would be where he's getting it as being a Team Mongoose from ;)
