Yep, the 1/2 and 9/16 are the same pedals just different spindles .. well, as long as you're using the same model of pedal

SX and DX spindles are inter-changeable too  :)

Sorry to butt in but does anyone know if the spindles for the 1/2" GT versions of DX's can be swapped?

I've swapped GT 1/2 and 9/16 DX Spindles on both the single (push insert) pin and the weird double (cast) pin designs. 

So unless there are any other odd designs then I think your okay at swapping between the GT's!!  :daumenhoch:

I dont know about swapping shimmy DX with the GT DX though!!  ???
