i guess neil will never win, he's right.
some people go down the purist route, with the brushed look. some dont.
some parts are too far gone to even remain in a survivor state....in some peoples minds.
i tend to look at items like neils stem and think, 'f'uck it the geezer has had a go at keeping this bitof history alive'
i've polished stems till my fingers bled....ive stripped em.... ive left them be...just depends on the mood or the build
ended up being this
i've polished the fook out of hubs and rims
polished the granny out of tuff necks
even ones like neils that were hammered
and ones that wasnt
and left them well alone, survivor style
at the end end of the day, does it really matter....
its all opinions, and we know what theyre like.
neil....they are your bikes and parts...do what the fook you want with em...but if you polish anything, dont expect everyone to like it.
my opinion is, i like a little bit of bling....
