safe decal removal

is there a way to remove decals keeping them nice and re-applying them later? I seem to remember something like this. Thanks

I think heat from a hairdryer does it

if you use heat it will leave the glue behind so leaving you with baldy decals and also might shrink them ......try a realy hot cloth and a one side stanley blade if you use your finger nail it will crimp the coener of the decal

as n2cus said the hairdryer gets them off a treat but as you gently pull them up they go that soft they distort and go outa shape :-\ also the glue comes off. ask del he may give you a few tips. he was telling me about lighter fluid for removing them or something ( as he has to remove some intact to scan them ) :daumenhoch:
