If you're a true BMX fan, you may like this. If you're a BMX snob, you'll hate it.
Anyhows, won this little puppy on the bay ages ago. It was a collection in Sheffield, as i live in Southampton i arranged with Spen69 to collect for me and post down :4_17_5: :4_17_5: I sort of needed another of these builds as it had the original stickers on. These were stripped and sent to Del to reproduce 2 sets, 1 for this and 1 for the 20" as we were short of the proper headtube stickers for that build. When you see the stickers you'll understand why they were a sod to get done without a proper set to copy. Seemed a bit extreme buying a complete bike just for a headtube sticker :LolLolLolLol:
Pretty much 100% apart from the wheels as the ones the bike came on were totally screwed and beyond repair. Grips and brake cables were also replaced for again the same reason. A quick powder, decals applied, all the bits in rust remover for what seems forever. Quickly built and hey ho, job done.
Enjoy.
With it's bigger brother then :LolLolLolLol:
And for any snobs out there reading this, this photo is for you :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol:
I know they're only Halfords Turbos but i'd hate to see these end up in a landfill site and if they can be preserved then i've earned some brownie points. Also, a few of you probably owned these as kids and you're now on a massive trip down memory lane.
A massive massive thanks to Del for the stickers and Spen for doing what he did, a true gent.
cheers peeps
