Looks more like an AKISU frameset to me...

Hello i was told when i brought the frame and folks is was a 80's Releigh.

Well I know a fair bit about Raleigh's (not seen many Releigh's though  :D)

If you post up some decent pictures of the frame incl. drop outs.. I can tell you for sure.

If its oval tubing and there is an 'R' cut out in the rear drop outs then its a MK2 Burner... but squinting at your pictures all I can see is a little triangle and what looks to be a brace between the chainstays at the rear of the BB... if thats the case it aint NO Burner.

JG:
Yes it has triagles cut out in the frame and the front forks have 3 holes in line .

It also has numbers stamp on the frame under the crack housing.

What frame do you think it is ?

beard1973:
Crack House? where do you live?

The pics are too small to make a positive ID but the drop outs look like AKISU style...

fischflo:
dropouts remind of 1983 Akisu or Raleigh DXR
backstays and brake mount (?) look a lot like 1983 Raleigh R2500  ---which, again, has no oval tubing  :-\

guess i need to find me a crack housing
