started the task last night . stripped the brakes see if i can do anything with them as they are well used , AND IF ANY ONE CAN HELP I NEED A END CAP OFF A WEINMANN CALIPER JUST LIKE IN THE PICTURE  PLEASE

Its the truth!!  If I had a scanner I'd be posting a pic on here of me with my pride and joy!!  Man I loved that bike.
