how do ya dye ya mags

i know the basics dye, salt,  hot water, but what do ya put it in, i used the bottom of a 250ltr  plastic barrel to bleach my mags,   i dont think this would be any good
to dye with as i need to keep the water at a constant heat, what have you lads used, and how long do you leave them in for.  ???

tried that before, didnt find anything relating to what container was used, i'll have another look .
