86 robinson rider
58 delray:
this is an 86 robinson i'm putting to gether to ride/race.
frame and forks are in survivor condition and came from Marc (Kuwahero) on here
it will have twin pinch flights with a profile spyder and possibly araya aero's, not sure with the wheels yet.
bars are powerlites
stem dk
seat elina
clamp tange
the brake is a mixnmatch mx1000 but i want to change it for a 901
the rear drop outs had taken a battering but i have straightened them out good enough for a rider, might get it powdered black later in the year

From the shape of the top of the forks I would say it's an 87 (I had an 86 BITD and the forks were more rounded at the crown), I think you can date the serial numbers on these from memory.
One of the best riding bikes I had back then good buy :daumenhoch:

the frame is deffo 86 from the serial but the forks may be later, do you have any pics i can compare to?
Bigplinky:
Only got a side view scanned in at the moment but I have got a front view somewhere I'll see if I can find it and scan it in :daumenhoch:

Here you go. The frames are the same from what I remember it's just the forks go a bit GT at the top in 87 (I think that was the year GT bought Robinson out and Greg Hill started riding for them). I bought my F&F from the Robinson Team bus in July or August 86, been trying for months to get one up to that point but they weren't in the country.
