what am i missing?

weston:
took the spider off my 3 piece & tried to put on a tuff neck chainring, on the spider you have that bit that bends out to fit the arm but you dont on the tuffneck, what do i need?

Washers dear boy.

is there no special part to get it exact?

only if you call the your 'special' washers!!!
