Right I finally got the bloody seatpost out ::) Had 2 sacrifice it tho was jambed in very badly :tickedoff: It was bent and dented which probably aided its refusal 2 budge at all costs . So I cut it off an inch from the top of the seatpost. I then made a saw :LolLolLolLol: (cost my boss a fortune me making tools 2 fix this frame) , 2 cut the post down its length twice, this took hours because didn't want 2 cut into the seatpost tube ::) then a lot of twisting with stilsons and eventually the vice I got the barsteward thing out . Heres the pics of the bits :-\

looks tough work Steve :daumenhoch: i would have gave up and put it at the back of the shed, shows the motivation you have towards these MRD's buddy :daumenhoch: cant wait to see the finished result :smitten:
