shimano dx spidle help.

After some help chaps. Got a pair of 9/16 spindle dx pedals and swapped the spindles for 1/2 now I cant get the nuts on the ends are they a different size or should they fit. Or am I just noob for thinking they would :crazy2:

Just tried the nuts of a pair of 1/2 sx and they fit. The 9/16 spindles mustnt of been dx spindles.
