Hi guys.

Ive just got my self a curtis in ok condition.

I am going to get it rechromed and all that is in hand..

I have a couple of issues with crushed tubes on the frame that i would like to put right before she gets her rechrome.

The first and worst of the two is the brake bridge has been squashed in to an oval well a little flatter that that to be fair. and i would like to know if any of you have managed to some how get this tube back to nearer round shape any way?

Also the seat post tube has bee squashed a bit so again id like to try and get this back to its origonal size! any ideas and does anyone know the correct inside tube size for this tube on a curtis?

Any help would be great guys!!

Cheers Lee

they dont look too bad tbh mate, have seen a lot worse and these should cover up when a brake and seat post clamp are fitted  :-\ the chrome looks very good as well from the pics. if it was mine id give it a lick with autosol and buid it as a nice survivor

lot cheaper as well ;)

stevochb:
I agree with Brummie, give it a good polish, build it up and you wont see the crushed bits.
