I have got it off some cranks before with glass paper, but it took forever, the best way is to let the chromerist do it, the bloke up this way does a frame, fork and bars for a tenner.

can he put the chrome back-on again? i've got a couple of frames i'd like refinishing, both currently chrome. I want one re-chroming, and one painting..... oh, and what's the going rate for chroming/painting :)?
stuntmaster:
if your going to paint frame then just sand frame up for a key for paint .most paint will stick to a frame that has been sanded well . i`m afraid if want rechromed then it back to the chromer`s as they have to dip frame to get chrome off
