"rg53lg" had shimano dx crank set on which thats what i got it for so has been a decnt thing in its day, the person thought it was vincent but not sure
thanks
HUTCHMAN:
if that number on the bb is a postcode, thats kingfisher drive in Woodley, near Reading.I'm only a few miles from there, don't recall anyone well known from that neck of the woods.
glenboy:
i never thought of that yes your right it came from round there it never crossed my mind a post code security mark :uglystupid2:, i think the bike was used back in the day rather than any time recent everything on it was early 80's, the wheels i have took off it are 1 3/8 inch ukai rims with aluminium mavic hubs and mitsuboshi silver star competition green, silver and white label comp3's tyres on in nice nick not sure whether to use them on my upcoming pk ripp build they just seem a bit narrow
HUTCHMAN:
I used to race this area bitd ,the only female I can think of from around here is Sarah Jane Nichols, but she lived near Tadley.
glenboy:
cheers hutchman, is this frame classed as a mini with having such a small bb
these were the wheels off it everything was period on it, which are in really decent nick just need a cleanup
