Bit of advice needed please....
ThisBitterPill:
Won a pair of White Mike Buff Z-Rims on ebay at the weekend and they turned up today....
Both rims have a couple of cracks around the area where the spoke holes are....
Nothing major, but I'm wondering whether I should ask for a refund or not?
They were described as 'Survivor condition' which I guess, can cover a multitude of things, but there
wasn't any mention of cracks in the description....
What would you do?
Would I be able to find a better pair of rims?
I take it I won't be able to repair the cracks?
Cheers guys!
:)
harris:
the holes around z rims crack /or look cracked chips and small lifted pieces
they come like this from new are they proper cracks or more plastic splinter chips.
ThisBitterPill:
Well they don't go through to the outside of the rim....
But one of them I can get a fingernail in.....
harris:
can you get a pic up.
ThisBitterPill:
Here goes:
Seems like there is a hairline crack running around the centre of a portion of the rim.....Very faint, but it's there....
