A VERY early 3rd gen blue max ;)
But....
Reading between the lines with that mongoose headset on it - and both frame and headset covered in cacky paint I think it's safe to say that the headset is original to the frame - and that wouldn't be right for a max - they came with tange stamped headsets and BBs :)

got the paint stripper out this afternoon and this is the result,
in pic 3 you can just see the remains of the decals that had been painted over.
the chrome has been keyed by the person that painted it so is is pretty much shot.
next step, headset out then over to Dans for some nice new powder :daumenhoch:
