Well you can get the seller to mark the value down on the package and mark as GIFT ($50 + GIFT usually does the trick) but then you run the risk of it going missing and only being covered for $50  :-\ depends on the value of the item really and how much you want to risk.

I often go half way value mark down on an expensive item - means I have to pay some fees but not mega and I'm partially covered from loss  :-\

Your call really...........

Oh and some sellers just won't do it  >:(

The worst is when they put down the TOTAL value on the form i.e. item value + postage cost and then you really get screwed  :crazy2:

ive got away with a whole bike before, deleverd straight to my door and ive also been but fooooked by customs so much they had a vip acount for me  :2funny: now i wont buy from the states anymore except for small stuff, saying that i paid a nifty customs charges on a £30 seat  :idiot2: there CNUTS mate  :daumenhoch:
