97/98 GT Vertigo project
ED209:
I've been looking for a winter project... nothing too expensive  and spotted a GT on Ebay listed as a 'GS BMX' :idiot2: and it looked interesting
...anyway £45 and no other bids so it went to me :daumenhoch:
Did some research into other Vertigos of this age and found this beauty...
So I thought 'work will need to be done'
It turned up yesterday and wasn't too bad at all ... brake cables were fooked and the tyres, seat, brake levers and pedals had to go. So anyway I was supposed to be going this slideshow DVD for a 40th birthday and that went out the window completely as I got cleaning and polishing.
Its not finished but its on the right path... might not even paint it as its a good survivor for 10/12 years... want to go black silver pink so need some pink cables and some pink GT decals from the man Del... I'm well pleased with it as a daily rider to save the wear on my DP :smitten:

I saw that on the bay, Dont think it was too far from me either. I was looking for a cheap quick project to ride at centreparcs later this month. I bought JJ's FBM Nighttrain :daumenhoch:
