burner freewheel/suntour hubs
markyp:
ive been offered a set of suntour large flange hubs which were taken off of a burner from bitd, its still got this weird skinny looking freewheel on it which the chap is trying to get off which was a concern of mine but he said that its not like a conventional freewheel and hes already started to dismantle it(seems a bit weird!)now im guessing that the suntour hubs are just standard suntour hubs and not burner issue so my question is will the hub take a proper freewheel after cos whats on it at the mo looks like a something from a raleigh shopper!!!i guesss this is one for the burner boys??
BrianP:
would it be possibly be a suntour cassette hub?
if so, no way of putting on a regular freewheel afterwards :(, the drive is kinda in the hub shell as opposed to being a screwed on unit like a regular freewheel.
