dia compe 880 problem with fitting

(1/2) > >>

JOE:
I recently bought some dia compe 880 brakes off the bay for my burner mk2 but im having trobble fitting them to the forks :(, i've taken a couple of pics so you can see the problem

theres like a lip sort of thing which is stoping it from completely goin through the hole in the forks, which means i cant put the bolt on :(

is there a way around this problem or have a wasted my money?
Joe

HUTCHMAN:
the centering jobbies are missing

ozone:
I've had lots of pairs of FS880 brakes and none of them had centering hardware.  I would throw the spindle that came with them and use a standard one.   :daumenhoch:

Steve P:
The hole in the curved washer is shaped to fit over the flat sides on the centreing spindle ... you could either drill a larger hole through it or file a couple of flats instead  :daumenhoch:

brettypeeps:
That has the wrong spindle in it there pal.  The spindle fitted is off an mx1000.  I would see you local bike shop and see if they can help with a replacement or put something in the wanted section here and swap it out
