mongoose stickers

hi i was wondering why on some early mongooses the mongoose sticker is on the crossbar and some on the lower bar was it somthing to do with if you had pads on from new or not????

An interesting question to which I don't think there is much of an answer, just seems to be the way it was.  Maybe check over at www.vintagemongoose.com to see that site sheds any light, Waza the guy that runs it is a mind of fantastic info on Mongoose  :daumenhoch:.

i think early gooses didnt come with pads,they were an optional extra so thats why maybe the decal was on the toptube??? :-\
