I use Finish Line synthetic grease (you can buy it at Halfords or online from others)
Partly because it's Teflon based but mainly because it says "fett" on the front :D :LolLolLolLol:

use the same grease. thought you would have used goose fat bobba

I just went for the teflon one in the first link i posted - took a kmc stainless chain off them too :daumenhoch:
did have a look in halfrauds but the only one my local store had yesterday was about a tenner
also considered beef dripping as it's an old school build but didn't want to attract vermin

I just use copper grease me, dismantled the crank I did back in 83 about a year back and the bearings and cups were still fresh and so was the grease...

Hi,
copper grease is a no no on bearings. Its for anti-seize protection (bolts, nuts etc) rather than lubrication (bearings). As it has copper in the grease it will eat bearing surfaces.
My advice would be to remove it from any bearings you have.
