OS Racer Crank Advise
« on: November 15, 2010, 01:05 PM »
I've nearly finished (after best side of 18 months  :-[ ) my Ripper OS Racer, problem is I want alloy cranks on it  ???

I've got a set of Crupi (180) and a set of Maxy Cross's (175) I could use..............

Anyone got any advice or suggestions  :daumenhoch:
I might actually build a bike this year instead of just hoarding parts :)

http://cgi.ebay.com/Sugino-GT-Cranks-175mm-old-school-bmx-bike-jp-dg-vg-ps3_W0QQitemZ200543657455QQcategoryZ158982QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp4340.m263QQ_trkparmsZalgo%3DSIC%26its%3DI%252BC%26itu%3DUCI%252BIA%252BUA%252BFICS%252BUFI%26otn%3D15%26pmod%3D110611409684%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D4970350837370628235

Or some box profiles and put a Ti spindle in , that's if the alloy requirement is weight related of course.

or just put some DXR 's on woth a bb convertor, moley wont mind  :LolLolLolLol:

 ;D

Just thought alloy ones looked better on a Ripper......I've tried a set of Mid School GT profiles and a set of twin pinch redlines....just didnt like the look  ???

At my size a few ounce on "crank weight" would make fooook all of a change.......  :D
