My ebay bargin
(1/1)
hooga1975:
I was bored on ebay the other day and ended up buying this just as something to build for fun. I payed £42 inc the postage for the frame, forks, stem, seat and post. I had a nearly new headset in my toolbox. The tyres and brakes I had nocking about in the garage and Ive got a nice new set of Truavtiv cranks to put on it that came on my RV24.
I know the boss pro bars are not ment to go on a cruiser, but the bars that came with it were utter shite. I kinda like the way they look as I will be riding this with the seat post up :)
I will only be using this bike to pop down the shops or down the boozer. I hate locking up my S&M as I worry some chav scum is gonna try and nick it, I wouldnt feel too gutted if this got nicked.
As I was at home because of the snow I got the allen keys out and put it together as far as I could with out having to go out and buy any parts.
Here is as it stands so far, not bad for £42. I just need to buy a freewheel, bottom bracket, chain ring and seat post clamp. I want to keep this build as cheap as possible so I am keeping my eye out on ebay for some bargins. If any one has any old bits nocking about let me know.
