how can you tell the difference between a mini, pro & pro xl stem?

i bought and recieved a pro xl stem from usa today but it is not as wide as a normal stem so a bit unsure if it is a pro xl :idiot2:

The dk stems are skinny feckers. It's the length that it protrudes from the head tube that determines the size of them.
My race bike has a pro xl on.

yup,i once bought a mini tuf neck by mistake,looked like it came out of a dolls house :LolLolLolLol:
