HELP!! got a bargain off the bay but need advice on dent removal
stevied:
bought this little db turbolite off ebay for a very good price, but the seller forgot to mention its got some big old dents in the toptube and downtube :tickedoff:
so i need some advice on how to cover/remove these. ideally im looking for a solution i can do at home (without welding gear etc). im sure i could use filler but i really want to get the frame powdercoated after. is there any type of filler that can be powdered coated over?
i'm in your hands guys as its the first time ive had to do anything like this?????
help!

hi fella,
there are products out there, I would speak to the company thats going to powder it and see what they suggest.. If it was me however I would send it to Sawall or Animal and get the job done right...
In the long run it will work out better, trust me. ;)

this was supposed to be a budget build, dont look like its gonna be though....

I'd be considering cutting my losses and sending it back, personally. If the (shockingly bad) damage wasn't mentioned in the listing, you can open a dispute which you will, more than likely, win. :(

i have already filed a dispute, but i really did get this cheap as it was listed really badly and i happened to stumble upon it 8)
however it doesnt excuse the fact that the damage wasnt listed >:(
