DB rear brake/gyro help please.

hi all, please can you help, the kid next door removed his brakes from his diamond back last year and threw them away, he now has changed his mind and want brakes again!, he has asked me to get him some and fit them for him but the rear set-up is different to the one on my haro which i found fairly straightforward, mine came down from the gyro, went through the first lug and into the second which has an adjuster before connecting to the bridge, easy peasy. the db only has one (double) frame lug and some bits of plastic bolted to the frame, i was going to get blank gyro cables but im not sure how it fit at the bottom end, in fact i know nothing about this new school malarkey!!...help please.

calmac:
Looks from pics that youd need to run 2 x seperate bottom cables rather than a bottom gyro type, bit like an old london mod, only without the need for the london mod splitter, looks like they would go through the double flattish metal section on the frame, and round the seat upright through the connections at bottom with adjusters mounted to mounts at bbottom of seat upright to brake, giving 2 x cables rather than bottom gyro will give a better brake as it does away with straddle bridge/cable.
As for the plastic type x 2 bits on the frame ?
Hope this is clear to understand lol

sharp767:
two cables....ok that makes a bit more sense now...do you have a photo of one set-up please?

calmac:
Sorry don't have mate, just think of it as 2 x cables, rather than straddle which splits yours from 1 to 2 cables, and fit 2 x cable adjusters in at the bottom of seat upright.

sharp767:
so those are two plasic things bolted to the frame not used?
