Wow, I didnt know that. I didnt know the 2 shops were linked and I didnt know that TLB was in charge.

I'm pretty sure that Alpine Sports became Alpine Action, then when that folded it went back to being Alpine Sports.  They moved from Nottinghill Gate to High St Kensington when Alpine action folded and had the basement of the Alpine Sports shop there.  I remember working there when the kids that played "Pogo Patterson" came in to buy a blue Kuwahara KZ2.

Alpine Sports was there first, in High Street Ken, I went there in the 70s to buy skate board wheels, then Alpine Action came about in the early 80s  :daumenhoch:

Yep, originally Alpine Sports had more than two shops, but deffo the one in Nottinghill Gate (which got named Alpine Action but was Alpine Sports first) and a few others called Alpine Sports dotted around London, High Street Ken being at least one other, I think they got bought out by Blacks in the end but not 100% sure about that.

BUBBS:
Got a couple of old Alpine Action invert shirts some where one in pink and the other in mint green small logo on front large inverted logo on the back, have also got an original Alpine Action chrome decal on my Changa, still got most of my Alpine Action receipts from back in the day

Loved going to that shop

Choddies:
Bought my Torker 280x from Alpine Action. Our crew would go up from bumblefook herts on the buses and trains. Hopefully had enough for a Kentucky Fried Chicken for on the top deck of 113 bus going home. That shop was so cool. My brother ran into one of the lads at a club in 1989 lol
