Alans bmx shop for me and still going strong, lowe mill lane hindley originally then wigan town centre. all the kids used to save up their pocket money till they had £20 for some Torker pro bars . we also had Winstanleys , bitd it was a toy shop with a bike dept up stairs , and last but not least Rogersons aswell bought my mike buff z rims from there £40 . :daumenhoch:

Dave Kane cycles in Belfast.. he stocked mongoose ,redline and diamond back  i still remember going up on a friday night to pick up my first mongoose . and then we would cycle up on a sat morning just to look at stuff or get a magazine . its still there but no bmx now its mainly road bikes

weymouth had fook all to offer in the way of bmx shops,it was halfords or nothing pretty much.our nearest decent shop was hot wheels in bournemouth an hour away!!they had everything you could have wished for.they were big importers of cw hence the reason why every other kid around weymouth had a cw and so began my love of them god damn ugly bikes(check my next build sometime soon!) :D
