fork and seat tube decals are the same as on a stratton aero i have.my frame has the tiny oval gusset on it though,but the forks are the same.who made stratton frames?

I would say it's the same as mine

in the end we said it was a AKISU and Tange like made - higher end welds and better tubing

aero shark and norco were made by Akisu

mine will be a custom job but going to have AKISU Decals

you had once said that Lee from burnerworld was the owner --- ANY chance you could find out or help us find out what that bike was? any info, a link?

but that it might not be a Pro cat but one of the others ? they may have had different drop outs due to different styles - race - street or freestyle as such !

might very well be, Bendy, however I cant find any stratton pics that resemble Ed's / that features Ed's kind of dropouts

what made me think AERO DESTROYER was probably:
Moza on bmxmuseum identifies a bike that seemingly looks like Ed's as an Aero Destroyer (Bogusbob posts same? kind of bike and provides a pic of the REAR BRAKE BRIDGE =====> Ed -and Moza- should be able to confirm if his/their bike has the same 'button')

it's a old thread

but

rear drop outs are the same as mine

he has a T but 9 digits - mine has the T but 7 digits

forks are the same bladed style

geomitry looks the same

but there is no under gusset holed plate on his - mine has

his decals read mk II AERO - mine i can't work out the out line left ? but could be aero ?

so who made the AERO - company ? frame most likey AKISU made

I think i remember the decals' outline traces on your bike; they did look smth like the decals in question, didn't they ?

On the AERO company --- difficult matter, as there seem to be less than 12 people who have actually even only HEARD of this brand. However I have managed to locate a person who i believe is the ONLY person on the ENTIRE PLANET who has actually seen and owned an AERO DESTROYER bitd !!

---- his name is Si, he lives in a secret place and, yes, he actually is a member of radbmx, where he known as 'back to the burner'. I have contacted him (PM), invited him to enter this thread, where he is expected to appear within a couple of days.........

i just noticed that there is a bridge between the chainstays on monikans pic (MKII) that is missing on Ed's, so
=> Ed's might be an MKI ?

info that at least not supports the stratton thesis: this bike's recently been sold on thebasy as a stratton super aero, which would mean another stratton typical drop

of course, Moza has seen at least a pic of an aero destroyer at some point, so he too could --and, clearly, should-- be asked ......, but first

Mine was deffo an Aero 'Something' as the Aero decals on it were original, based on what a bitch they were to get off

Anyway... been keying the hell out of my chrome for a couple of days and I got the primer on yesterday... gotta go hunt my baby blue today

If anything, mine appears to be very similar to the aero bike that was shown on page 3 from Burnerworld (Clicky here). Particulalrly when you look at the rear triangle.
