uni turbo resto help

got uni turbo seat and popst combo to resto a bit .now the seat im sure is nylon so i can dye that back to nice blue colour but the post i dont reckon is can anyone confirm this might plasticote it all if the post wont dye .

I done a red one. The seat was ok so I didnt have to die it but I used a varnish on the post that they use for fishing rods and it turned out pretty close to the og colour.
