fsa cranks

i need help i have set fsa 3 piece cranks square taper fitting and they are just stuck in box in garage i bought a square taper bb set long time ago and they didnt work the axle was too long .basically does anyone know what bb set i need for usa old school fitting that will work right .theres been quite few on ebay but they are the same as the one i bought which are no good as said axle is too long so chain cant be aligned right at all .

so whats the axle length needed so i can start looking properly or have u got one spare
