3 piece crank issue
oldskooldayz:
Hi peeps little issue here
For some reason when i set up my cranks and chain wheel the chain wheel is off like on a wobble
I'm adding the shims but to no joy it still seems out
Any suggestions please
I've never had thus before
brettypeeps:
What cranks and what chainwheel fella. Do you need a nineteen to 22mm adapter?
oldskooldayz:
new oldskool redline proline 180mm single pinch and no adaptor needed
im useing a power disc and 44 chainwheels
nosepickben:
I had this, used a combination of a shims on axle + drive bolt to get line right. Still not 100% but good enough for action.
Largeflat thin shim on spindle then what i think was a 10mm wheel axle washer as shim between drive bolt + crank arm. gave me spot on chain line + near enough dammit no sprocket wobble on crank arm. Took time tho bro and a lot of washer hunting+ modyfying with crappy file. good luck, you'll get there.
