Pushed in ! need a clever idea to help !
ED209:
Never owned an OS pair of Skyways so can I be excused too... pictures might help though.
...anyway isn't a clever a big knife :)
hunterdubber:
I've had this problem before BE ,, and tbh it's a fookin nightmare and fiddly
I ended up trying to warm up the hub and gently tapping from the opposite side , only thing is you struggle to keep the face even as you attempt to knock back each alloy hub prong.
someone devised a tool , where it is a long bolt was fed through where the axle goes and you slid on a wide tab then attached with a nut from the inside of both hub flanges . Then slid a collar surrounding the outer of the flange, then slid another metal plate wider than the collar on top, and then a nut to tighten and therefore pull the hub face upwards and out evenly and slowlly as not to cause any damage
Anyway why do you want to use a clever ? ???
:D :LolLolLolLol:
