DB f1 - taking shape nicely... pic heavy
sid1972:
Hi folks,
felt awful for the last week, thought I'd cheer myself up with a bit of stripping and cleaning this.
I had to relace the wheels because the spokes were shot big style, rims are nice with the original stickers still intact. Tyres had a slight rinse is warm water.
Reused the nipples, but two were really shot, so I had to replace them.
The frame and forks on this are lush - the dropouts are mint. slight mark on the inside. Decals are little scuffed but its like me :D
The crank seemed to be far over on the drive side - when I opened it up there was no grease at all..
no wear though, which is nice :daumenhoch:
Looking at this thing must it's not been ridden, original tyres, inner tubes. The only question is the grips :-\
well happy...
hope you like ;)

Looks mint Sid 8)
It's great when you find an original survivor from bitd with all those little details still on it , like the DB decals on the wheels and the fact that it looks like it has hardly been ridden . I Got a Redline of Glen and that is the same, totally factory spec/original even down to the reflectors front and rear :D
Hope your feeling a bit better soon mate ;)
