Still have this blue Shotgun 2 really need a black

Hi guys.
I'm on my second build. This times Curtis pro to Be the big brother to my exp. I am going to build in the same colours so they make a matching pair! So it's chrome n black again. Sorry if I'm a bore doing 2 the same but the exp was a rep of my pro race bike from bitd.
I have a shotgun on the exp in original black and I have a nice blue one I will drop on the pro. But blue will not look good so to cut this long story short how do I dye it black? What is the best method? I've done some mushrooms before with rit dye but not convinced it would take to a plastic seat and really don't want to ruin it!

I did my Shotgun from yellow to black.

I bought 2 pots of rit to do it but there was other stuff being dyed aswell.






The only problem is it isn't shiny enough but it was in hell of a mess when i got it so a lot of sanding has been done. I may buy some lacquer to spray on there.
