powerlite bar timeline

I have a few sets of these bars,i know that the diamond knurled ones are the latest.

and the non knurled,thin cross bar,really flat along the bottom are the earliest,VDC made ones.

does anyone know when the straight knurled ones came out,obviously it was some time inbetween :D
