As for the stem, I've never been bothered about a few battle scars on the odd survivor part on my builds, most if not all of my builds have some survivor element to them - doesn't really bother me. Especially with so much re-pop stuff around, I think a few small battle scars here and there give a bit of authenticity  :)

Much rather have a few nicks and just give it a light hand polish like I have done rather than polish it to a mirror finish that it never came in and possibly lose definition in the stamp.

But hey - that's just me  :angel:

I did toy with the idea of replacing the hardware on it but decided to just keep it all original survivor in the end  ;)
