Skyway ta serial number

Hi All,

I have just got a TA off Ebay last week.

I was a bit suspicious as although the SKYWAY USA 3-83 stamp seemed genuine enough, there were only 7 and not 8 digits in the serial number, and the last three, 0000801-, seemed slightly larger than the first four zeros (A RESTAMP ??  :wtf:)

It does have a curved brake bridge.

Should it have 8 digits in the serial number ?

I am trying to get a decent pic to post, but any thoughts from you guys would either put my mind at rest or make me go and check that it isn't a Burner  ;D

If mine says 03-83 0000801 does that mean I have got an early USA made frame? :shocked:

Seeing pics of others :-\ it seems genuine enough. My numbers have been stamped with "Good 'Ol 80's Star Wars" technology by comparison :2funny:.  The chrome and decals appear to be original too. ;D   Forks are ASCO:tickedoff:Are these any good as a brand??

Can I be on the list too please ;D
