GT Mohawk Hub Axle Replacement
Dannywhac:
Just a quick question - bought some GT Mohawks recently as sealed - turns out they're loose-ball :(
Any-one know of sealed axle/bearing kits or a decent axle replacement for them? (Or have any axles/bearings or knacked hubs I can strip).
Cheers in advance :daumenhoch:

Oh contraire my Greek friend ;) You should be able to pop out the loose-ball cups (which can be a frikkin nightmare) and find a suitably lengthed collared axle, measure up for sealed bearings and you're away - done it to Peregrine hubs, but some of em need a tinker in a machine shop to widen were the axle goes through. Then again prolly just might as well buy some sealed hubs :)
It's getting the axle collar distance measurements as well that's a pain.....
