Ukai rim restoration

About to embark on a restoration of a JMC XL i have just bought and wondered if someone could point me in the direction of any threads / demos on restoring Ukai rims and also cleaning up the spokes (which are lightly rusted / pitted).  Have searched but cant find anything Thanks
