dyeing mags - yellow to red.....

anyone done this or know if it works......?

2 x boxes of scarlet Rit & 1500g of salt in a big tub of boiling water submerge wheels for 2 days and clean off with cold soapy water = yellow to red tuffs !

cheers oldsnow,  i was aware of the procedure just wasn't sure if yellow would dye red - thanks again  :)
