JAPANESE MADE: Japanese frames look pretty much the same as the last USA version, but the serial numbers vary in length and include a symbol that looks like a baseball.
TAIWANESE MADE: Taiwan frames have the serial on the BB.

Johans info is a bit old and out of date. More of a rough guide than factual bible.

Easy to tell though, show some pics of the underside of the rear tubes.

I liked it before too :LolLolLolLol: Kept it for 5 years. I build slowly though.
Looks nice fella, cant go wrong with a hutch and the other bits suit it. As long as you're happy and enjoy it then you're on a winner.
