dying seat with superglued repair????
(1/1)
firebird4130:
thinking about dying an old seat but it has an area repaired with superglue, Just wondering if anyone knows if it would melt, and also whats the lowest temp you can dye at with rit?
Cheers :daumenhoch:
Munnyella:
It would be better if it did melt, as it won't dye, best to dye in pieces then glue back together, or if for a show pony only, see sid1972's thread about using tagging pens to dye one, might be less problematic.

was thinking of the paint pen method, but not sure how to get round the rails underneath with it. I was gonna use a little bit of paint on the superglued repair if it didn't melt
cheers
