..back to the Z v Skyways discuss..

Deffo skyways if your gonna ride it, they flex enough, but z's will be mental flexy, they were bad enough with a kids weight bitd, but with a grown up, badly doing tricks.....

If you ride it a lot, then i'd lose the skyways too, spokes, or new tuffs (get the fake ally hub caps) to stop you breaking your nice old ones, you'll be sick as a parrot if you see the tiny cracks around the hubs start to  appear!!

Just my feelings, its your bike, and very nice it is too!

I like both   :daumenhoch:

Half my DP's have been built with Z rims and the other half with Skyways  :LolLolLolLol:

I've been through this dilema many times and the best answer I've found is as above, ie buy a set of brand new, sealed bearing hubs for £60 off ebay, stick a set of false hub caps on them and reide the fookas as you will eventually crack the proper o/s ones or the hubs will pull in :-\

Currently I'm riding a couple of sets of well tensioned Araya 7X's for normal or track riding and a set of new sealed Tuffs for skateparks. I've bought a set of RadKaps to give them the o/s look and whilst the Tuffs do flex more, for 60 notes a set, who cares as they look fookin' ace :smitten:

Just my personal opinion :coolsmiley:
