Hi folks,

picked this up - think its about a 1998/99, I know its not that collectable but I am going to use it while my rider frame gets a fresh coat of powder.

Whats this crank set up all about?  It's a 'TRUVATIV', bikes still got a 16 tooth cog on the rear? Will it run ok for park etc?

Are these mohawk hubs and are they seeled?

thanks for any help,

Sid..  :daumenhoch:

Looks like its been used for trails ridin looking at the gearing and bash ring :-\

oldtired:
look like mohawks, think maybe the lower end ones might have had a different name ?  :-\,, those do not look to be sealed bearing, Rooski is bob on with the crank set Trials bike, Onza , Da Bomb etc

Dannywhac:
Yep Mohawks - they're 'Sealed Mech' - ie loose ball bearings with a rubber shield.

 ::) thanks guys  :4_17_5:

sorry to sound really dim, what does that mean in terms of riding it - low gear set up or is it just a clearance thing?

could I use it for a bit of ramp work, mainly wobbling  ;D  or is it just not worth setting it up?
